Synopsis
The author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to find that the townspeople are being attacked by a bloodthirsty vampire.. Writer Gary Dauberman told Den of Geek in June 2019 that his goal with the new version of Salem’s Lot will make vampires scary again. He wants to get away from the sexier, more romantic undead that has flooded pop culture for the better part of the past quarter century, thanks to everything from Interview with the Vampire to Twilight to The Vampire Diaries.. The paper was allegedly printed in 1956, at a time when the term "DUI" it was not yet in use.. Literature Trog (1970).
With that said, it is very mediocre

First of all, I have to say that even when the Stephen King adaptation is weak, at least it’s still watchable. It’s a testament to King’s work. This movie is lucky to be a King movie. At the beginning of the film I was very excited, everything was good, there was an atmosphere of uneasiness and it seemed very royal.
Also, no blood
But every aspect of the developing story is abandoned. Pretty quickly we get to the point where people just disappear from the city. It happens so fast and the remaining people simply "know" the cause is vampires. They also seem to know who the main vampire is right away and that makes no sense. I’ve seen some incredibly bad horror movies in my life and this isn’t bad, it’s just too fast.

Damage. If this was an 8-10 episode miniseries, it would have worked. The elements are there. The cast is here. I have to admit that I stuck with the source material, it shows that the creators had an understanding of what they were working with..
