First, it’s going to be very confusing
We meet some of the characters and learn that they have drama going on behind the scenes. We are then introduced to an interesting mechanism that will drive the rest of the film. At that point I thought I was in for something really special. What I didn’t realize was that there were some issues that were going to hold the movie back.
Other issues lie with the characters
I don’t want to go into details because it would ruin the premise of the movie. But anyone who watches this movie will quickly understand what I’m talking about when it comes to confusion. I will say that while half of the movie is very confusing, it does clear up and become a bit more coherent towards the end. But you still have to be smart about it, that’s for sure.
Aside from all the negatives, there are some really good things
There are a lot of twos and they are very toxic people, hard to care about and be around. I really feel like the movie could have easily removed 2 or 3 characters and nothing would have been lost. And as for their toxicity, I understand that it makes for juicier drama, but sacrificing likability is a big deal. If you can stay on top of the story and follow all the story arcs and characters, you’re likely to have a great time as it has some interesting tricks up its sleeve in that regard.
