However, Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles biopic is likely to include Beatles songs
Synopsis
On Thursday 9th November 1961, a man named Brian descended the basement stairs in Liverpool and changed the world forever. Like 2023’s Priscilla, Midas Man does not use Beatles music because they didn’t get the rights, but other songs were used that they got the rights to or were already in the public domain.
I would say to anyone considering watching it, it’s worth a try
I’m a fan of Brian Epstein because as a Beatles fan I dreaded this movie as much as I looked forward to it. It’s not a perfect movie, but they managed to capture the authenticity.
I heard (as super fans) that there were problems with the production, you’d never guess
JFL definitely hits the spot in the lead role, he really is a star in the making, but the supporting roles also seem really well thought out. I would have liked a five-hour TV series with the same production values as this movie to satisfy Brian, but as a movie and as a single, it’s more than decent.
One thing no one can disagree with is that Brian was loved and should be remembered as such
I know people who have been there and I really can’t wait to see it on the big screen hopefully, although I understand the UK ATM is going straight to Amazon? It’s a shame, I was lucky enough to see it on the big screen and maybe I’m biased, but it’s one of the most enjoyable films I’ve seen in months.
A reliable legend
Go watch this, download it or buy the DVD (still working?) .
