Paul King, the director of the previous two films, has decided not to direct this part
Synopsis
Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now lives at the Home for Retired Bears. Join the Brown family on an exciting adventure as a mystery takes them on an unexpected journey. However, he came up with the idea for this third film and was involved as an executive producer. Follow Paddington (2014). OK Mrs.
Brown has taken a new direction
For those who don’t know, the previous official, Sally Hawkins, said it’s time to move on. I tried to warm to her, but to me Emily Mortimer is just a senior product of the London School of Lovely girls. I know the show has moved on, but Emily’s opening moves are annoyingly flat and uninspired. For a few minutes I thought oh no!! I tried hard to warm to her, she progressed strangely later in the film…the least they could have done is give her a meaningful script, she seemed too small a wife who doesn’t say much.
Let’s be fair
Sorry Em!Same to Madeleine Harris who plays Judy, great lines next time, maybe both. She may have tried to be Sally Hawkins at times, I’m not sure, but she had big boots to fill and Sally was a smashing success. They all played their roles very well in the end. So anyway, the dear Peruvian finds himself taking the initiative this time and coming to help family members. This journey takes him through the world of Lahndan art to guess where…
Forget it if you have healthy phobias of certain creatures (not snakes)
A family member is in trouble and the oldest’s madness and mortal sin is the cause of all evil. The scenery in the faraway place is stunning, simply stunning, it inspires me to go there, as does London, which is darkly happy. a lot of hilarity in the movie, action and tears too, but very young children, who are not very brave, find the show not so warm-hearted, scary, sometimes I thought so. Visually it’s just as fantastic as the previous films, although the script is at times flat and a little predictable, the mysteries unfolded were simple enough for five year olds to handle…ahem…the target audience. Haha ….this doesn’t take anything away from the CGI effect of the film and one particularly ear-splitting one.
Just saying, I don’t think it’s over
Bonneville seems to have had a hair transplant, not sure, but he’s always given great performances, along with the Walters and some of the great newcomers to the story.
