His co-star Hunter King never cut it as a romantic lead
His previous work always has a twinkle in his eye and cheeky humor – what girl doesn’t like that! His screen time is completely overshadowed by the over-the-top acting of a very eccentric family, with a ridiculous plot that gets to the point where you’d rather walk on hot coals than sit through it all.
It showed that there was no chemistry between these two
Hynes had better relationships with other, more believable actresses in his previous films. Hopefully Hynes gets more movies like It’s Always Been You – because this movie didn’t do him any favors at all.
