The introduction to the original Dune tells how a Rossak sister evolved into a Bene Gesserit. The incident where Valya Harkonnen used the voice comes from someone called the Mentats of Dune. All three books link the evolution of the sisters, Mentats, Navigators, and Suk doctors.
The quality was good
To me, it’s pretty silly how many people complain about this show after it had a decent pilot. I’d give the first episode a 7.6. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it certainly wasn’t as bad as so many of these stupid reviewers made it out to be.
NO, it’s not like Sex and the City
And YES, the entire mission of the Benne Ghesserit is to manipulate bloodlines in politics. That’s what they say in the movies and books. So why are you giving it 1-5 stars!?
