After start setup click ‘Configure’,, specify installation directory, , click next and next ,, select the software you need (Direct X [provided in the Redist folder]), next again, finally on ‘Install’PLAY GAME FROM DESKTOP SHORTCUT using run as administrator

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Before starting the installation of this pack, make sure you have uninstalled all your Sims 2 games including their registry entries if any exist on your system, make sure there is no “EA Games” folder in your documents (“My documents” ‘ for xp users) folder after uninstalling your previous Sims 2 game as ‘EA Games’ contains ‘The Sims 2’ folder consisting of cache and mods of your previous game which could cause the game to crash….This folder it will be regenerated for this repack after first running the game…….DISABLE YOUR ANTI-VIRUS BEFORE RUNNING ‘Setup.exe’ (IMPORTANT) because the anti-virus will mark ‘setup’ as a suspicious file so it won’t be able to run setup or it can run , but with some errors,, same for uninstall…..(For avast users: Disable DeepScreen in antivirus settings)…
The game will always show the “Mansion and Garden Stuff” loading screen, because it is the latest expansion, everything is included in it
The first time you open the game, the game launch will be take a while (black screen) and skip the intro video, please be patient, next time it will start normally and fast…. ….. The first time each world loads it takes time to load please be patient it’s like running 10 games at once (don’t assume it’s frozen) just wait and let it load…
Always open the game with ‘Run as administrator’ , to avoid game crash/save issues
If it still crashes, lower the graphics settings from the game options and make sure you meet the system requirements. NOTE: Change the “shadows” from high to low or medium through the graphics/performance options in the game, otherwise a black square will appear under your Sims instead of inner shadows… If in case you can’t change the game resolution from 800×600 or whatever, please read the ‘Reolution change.txt’ text file provided for the fix…
